If you have not agreed to the said terms and condition, please refrain from using the site.
Parties are hereby bind by the below mentioned terms and conditions of this agreement and the place of entering into this agreement deem as Nawala where the registered office of the company is located and the date will be the date the customer initiate the inquiry of services of the company.
Modification of Terms
The company reserves the right to change, modify, add or remove conditions of this agreement periodically, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the modified Terms to the Site.
Use of the Site
This site (www.theweddingshop.lk) should strictly be used by persons who are at or above 18 years old and people who are under 18 years of age will be strictly prohibited using the site and the company will not bear any responsibility and/liability of about people using this site who are under 18 years of age.
An image of each Product will be shown as seen on the product and the company will not be responsible for any change of images happen due to the quality of monitor and computer equipment used by the customer.
Variations in colours
Colours can vary when printed on different machines and how they are viewed on your monitor.
Prints may have variations in colour from the image on the website, due to the nature of the printing processes used. We will do our absolute best to match your requests, but print colour will not always look exactly as they do on your computer screen.
Customers should be aware that due to a variety of factors there will often be variance in colours shown between in digital proof, digitally printed samples and final items. The Wedding Shop do not guarantee 100% consistency and accuracy of colour on all items and may not always be able to achieve the exact result expected by the client.
Proofs & Approval
The Wedding Shop accepts no responsibility for spelling, punctuation or grammatical errors made by the customer and will not print your order until approval of your proof has been received.
All wordings must be approved via an emailed digital draft. Upon receiving your first draft, you will be allowed one additional set of revisions free of charge. Any additional revisions past that point will incur an additional fee. Changes to the artwork after approving the final draft and after confirming the bulk production could cost extra charges.
Availability of Ribbon, Lace and Flowers on products
The company is not liable to provide the exact ribbon design, lace or flowers on the product images. And also if custom colours/designs are requested by customers, the nearest match will be used on the final product.
Natural and Handemade items
Colours and photo size may vary based upon your screen resolution and other computer settings.The photo may differ from the actual product due to different resolutions, hue, brightness, contrast, and other screen variations. Cane and palm leafs are natural products and some variation is to be expected. Therefore, The Wedding shop shall not be held responsible for any variation between the photos on the website and the actual product you receive. Every single piece is made by hand using natural materials. Please be aware that size, thickness, flatness and colours may vary due to the handmade nature of the products.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
If, by mistake, we have under priced an item, we will not be liable to supply that item to you at the stated price. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the item at that price.
The company will have the authority to Non-acceptance of the order made by the customer for the following reasons
- If the Product is Out of stock
- If we are unable to accept your payment
- If our providers are unable to supply the ordered product
- If our providers can’t supply the products to the marked price on the site
In the event of such non acceptance of the order company will contact the customer and will make a refund of the monies paid within 7 days of the non-acceptance of the order.
Processing time for each product is marked under the Product description and delivery time can be varied depending on the area of delivery. The company will not be liable for the delay in delivery of the order due to the reasons out of control of the company.
Printing time/ Manufacturing time reflect an average completion time for 200 units. These times are not guaranteed. For guaranteed production dates please email us and arrange a date with our sales representative. Printing time/ Manufacturing time are quoted in working business days. Weekends, Holidays and transit times are not included.
Cost of shipping will be calculated on a weight based system. The weight of the product will be collected from the supplier. Certain factors such as order size, weight and shipping address may require us to charge extra shipping and delivery costs. We will contact you if this is the case and ask for payment for extra delivery charges.
Delivery of goods
The company will undertake to supply the goods via courier service to the addresses given by the customer at the Checkout. There may be duties and taxes added to your package by the destination country. You will be responsible for these upon delivery and are not included in your order total.
When the products are delivered check as much as possible whilst the delivery person waits. If one or more items are damaged you have two options:
- Refuse the deliver and contact email@example.com as soon as possible.
- Accept the delivery, make the delivery person aware and add a clearly written note about the number of damages items on delivery paperwork
Errors in Shipping Address
If there is an error on the given shipping address, company will pause the importation and delivery of the order and will contact the customer via an email through the registered email address given by the customer for the verification purposes. The shipping address for your order is shown in the checkout and on your order confirmation and shipping confirmation emails. In the event that an incorrect address was entered, address changes can only made until the order begins processing. Costs associated with you providing the incorrect address will be passed on to you. The WeddingShop cannot cover any costs associated with rerouting your delivery or redelivery requests.
Delay in Orders
Items ordered by the customer will be delivered to the given addresses on the conditions stated above. If there is any delay in supplying the ordered item by the suppliers and the company may unable to deliver the item to the customer on the agreed date the company will communicate that to the customer via an E-mail send to the registered email address. The company will not be liable in the delay on the part of the customer to reply to the said E-mail. If the customer is in the view of refusing to accept the item ordered due to the said reason company will make a refund of your payment upon the conditions mentioned in the return policy.
International orders will shipped via EMS or customer can request and arrange another courier service. The company will not take responsibility of delay with the courier service. We are not responsible for any duties, fees, or taxes that are incurred during the delivery of your order.
Items which will be accepted as returns will be marked on the product pages and the below mention items will not be subjected to return

Cancellation of order should be done within 6 Hours of the final payment and should be communicated to the company via email send to firstname.lastname@example.org from the registered email address and the order number should be mentioned clearly on the mail. In the event of the cancellation company will retain a penalty which will be communicated to the customer by email communication. Below mention items are not allowed for cancellation

The order will be proceed only after we receive the payment from the customer which will be communicated to the customer via an email send to registered email address. And also customer should pay the full amount prior delivery.
Customers are advisable to keep an eye on their emails as the Company will always communicate with the customer via emails for further clarifications of the orders and or changes in orders ect. The company will not be liable for the delay in suppling orders to the customer due to delay in communication with the customer. In the event of the delay in communication on the part of the customer company will pause the order till it receives a feedback from the customer.
All communication will be done via the registered email address. Other communication Methods will not be accepted for orders.
The items we have with warranties are marked on the Product Description and the warranty card will be Delivered with the goods.
No person shall be without the consent of the company Copy or use the contents and the criteria which will come under the Intellectual property Act and will be liable for committing an offense if use those without the consent of the company and be liable to sue against him or it before appropriate court of law.
